While I was long-arm quilting for a client last week I had an idea for another quilt project and I almost started cutting fabric for it when I got home.

Really?? How crazy am I??

Yes, I do already have fabric to use for the quilt in my sewing closet. That means that I would be decluttering materials in the space rather than adding more things.

However, I have plenty of projects I am already in the middle of and I don’t need to complicate the process of clearing space in my sewing room by starting ANOTHER one!

The quilt top I am currently working on must be finished first. I am writing this post to keep me accountable to keep working on that quilt during the rest of this week rather than starting a new one.

Even though the new project would a quick one – finished in a couple of hours – it has to wait!
