Today I spent some time using the long-arm quilting machine and I finished a quilt for one of my clients.

The quilt was baseball themed and my client requested an over-all free motion design with circles to compliment the baseballs in the fabrics.

I decided to use double loops as the over-all quilting design and used a gray thread that wouldn’t pop out too much on any of the fabrics.

I enjoy seeing the personality of the quilter – or the intended recipient – in the fabrics and designs chosen for quilts. There are endless fabric and design possibilities available to make quilts truly one-of-a-kind and perfect for any age or interest.

It is always a good day when I get to spend time using the long-arm quilting machine. Free motion quilting is my favorite part of my own quilt projects, and I truly enjoy helping my clients finish their own quilting projects as well!
