I am taking a moment to look back on the last couple of weeks to document the progress I have made in finishing projects and decluttering my tiny sewing closet.
My efforts are paying off and I am seeing and feeling the difference in my sewing space each day!
Here’s the recap:
- Finished my daughter’s summer nightgown
- Decluttered project books
- Cleared space on my sewing table
- Completed several more rows on the heart quilt top
I have my eye on the hanging shelves in my sewing room as my next declutter focus. I have already removed some items that I needed to donate from the shelves, but they definately need more attention!
I am also working diligently on finishing the quilt top as quickly as I can. I seem to be able to piece about one row per day on weekdays when I am at home with the kids.
On the weekends when my husband is home I typically can manage a little more project time, so perhaps I will be able to get the last nine rows pieced by next week!
