I started blogging just a few weeks ago about my efforts to complete the half-finished projects piling up in my sewing closet.
I am still see so many projects-in-progress that need my attention when I open the door to the sewing room, but I can also see evidence of my consistent work over the past three weeks.
Most days I have spent about 30 minutes sewing and a couple minutes decluttering an item that I know can be donated, or throwing away obvious trash that I see.
Most of the progress I have made so far has been from completing projects and moving them out of the sewing closet to their intended home. My mindset shift that working on a project counts as decluttering has been very helpful in being able to make a difference in how the sewing space looks.

Now when I sit down at my sewing table to work on a project, the table is clear except for my tin of thread and a small basket with scissors, pens, and miscellaneous items.
This makes such a difference!
It gives me momentum to keep finishing projects and to look for ways to make my tiny sewing closet a functional space where I can consistently work on my projects.
